NEW

A word that will remind different people of different things in their life's.
Some may be reminded of the new clothes they got.
A few others may be reminded of the flat screen TV that just got delivered to them.
And some may even be reminded of the new job that they are going to be starting.
But there is one thing that is common even among all this differences.
And that is

The excitement ,curiosity and even a bit of nervousness  that arises in us when we get something new in our life.
It maybe a thing as small as a painting that we just got home, but yet those mixed feelings of joy don't change, and we hope that the new member makes a difference in our life.

Soo...now let me ask you how curious are you about this new 365 days that has just entered your life?
Are you excited at all?
Or are you just skeptical?
I was initially among those who considered it to be not be a big deal after all it was just another year in the history of my lifetime.
But then on the brighter side,  I began to wonder.

I started to think of this NEW YEAR.
I began to see it as a gift.
I saw it to be  the start of something new.
I saw it to be a chance.
A chance to fix what didn't work before.
A chance to go to places where i always wished i could go.
A chance to try something new.
A chance to mend relationships.
I saw it as a chance to make life better.

THE PIES IN LIFE

One day you embark on a journey to get somewhere

When you reach where you have to the whole journey becomes a memory

One day you take a chance, but fail

The next day that failure also becomes  a memory.

One day you meet someone who makes a difference in your life.

When that person leaves moments spent become a memory

One day you step into another persons life and make a difference

When you think that the difference is made and so you leave

You become a part of a memory.

Memories are a world by itself.

A world filled with happiness, sadness, regrets remorse and many other emotions and moments.

Sometimes you have them and other times you  become a part of them.

It's never easy to forget these emotional pies in life.

But it is important to know that getting through each day just eating pies can be unhealthy
On the other hand, if you have never taste pies, then maybe you missed out on something.

But there is one sure thing you  can do

And that is

To cherish each pie ("MEMORIES IN LIFE") that you eat for the rest of time.
That way you get to remember the amazing tastes of each pie.
And you begin to realize that you did not waste life with just some boring food, but made it exciting by trying out different pies in life.
The feeling you get from that realization is what is going to make your journey ahead in life more interesting and exciting.

OH LONELINESS! BYE BYE!

You live in a world with a population of 7.4 billion.

And in everyday life maybe you are surrounded by at least 50 people.

But in spite of all this company at some point of time you would have been stranded by yourself in your journey of life.

And that’s when you feel the Voldemort word “LONELY”

A word that nobody wants to use nor feel.

It’s a tough feeling no doubt

There were times when I felt lonely.

But, little did I know that that behind that awful loneliness was a whole new world left for me to explore.

Do you want to know which world I’m talking about?

No it’s not something wacky or entangled.

It’s was just

The world of me!

Yes you heard me right.

It’s a normal human tendency to want to have someone to share your feeling and thoughts.

And it’s OK!

Relying on that person or persons now that is a bad habit.

Get over it now.

You may think that it’s easy to tell but difficult to do.

It may be difficult so what?

Nothing in life is easy isn’t?

Think about it

You came into this world by yourself.

And so you just live in it by yourself every single day.

There is no feeling called loneliness.

Because you have a company in yourself for the rest of time.

Find a friend in yourself.

And the next time you are left behind with no company.

Just step into the world of you and you will find a friend.

 Learn about yourself and enjoy your company.

Simply because there is no better company than yourself.

There is one door in your life which, when knocked on has to be opened.
Wondering which door this is?
It's "The Door of Opportunities"
What's behind this door decided  your next journey.
Yes, it is true.
But what happens in reality is that most often than not  this door remains closed.
You may not realize what you may have missed out on at that moment.
But eventually the wave of regret will hit you.
Why wait till this unfortunate end?.
The next time someone knocks at your door of opportunities open and see what is waiting for you.
You will be surprised at the turn your life makes.
Pleasant off course.
Because no opportunity is for the worse.
Simply because every move you make in life only makes you a better person and leads you to where you belong.

life is never easy. We all face hurdles, some are small and some are tall.  What makes the difference is how we turn those hurdles into stepping stones. But how do we do that?. There is no rocket science involved. You just need to use your powerful weapon. Do you know what I'm talking about?

YOU'R MIND

I read somewhere that the mind is what rules human emotions , this hierarchy needs to be broken immediately. YOU ARE THE BOSS remember that!.That mind of yours better listen to you. Its not a big deal its in-fact the easiest of all. 
I'm sure you must have  heard this saying "you will not get until you ask". 
The only difference here is
 ' you will not get until you tell".

You want something just tell your mind. If you want to turn an unpleasant situation into a pleasant one, then just tell your mind. This is the secret to success.
 .
I am not a pro , in-fact I am just like you. I too face hurdle's.  But, I trained my mind to listen to me and since then,

No day was a dead end.
Each day has been one where I got everything that could make my today better than yesterday.

IT'S NOW YOUR TURN TO MAKE EACH DAY YOUR DAY.

THE LIFE OF SOMEONE

When I came into this world, I did not know how my life was going to be.
I did not know about the world.
As a kid, my mother was the only world I knew about. 
She fed me and kept me safe.
In my little world i had friends who were just like me.
We played together for hours in the sun
I thought that maybe the world that I am in is beautiful.
Little did I know at that time that I was actually living in a cruel world.
A world where I am an uninvited guest.
Years passed and the time had come for my mother to part ways with me.
I thought I was going to be ok.
But, everything changed.
I did not play in the sun any more.
My friends changed.
I had no home because my mother's arms were the only home I had.
Food and shelter were hard to find.

While some people adored me and comforted me others didn't want me around them.
I thought that i was the only one who had a life like this.
But i learnt that they were many more of them like me.
Some of them were aggressive , others calm and still others just lived to survive.
But, I did not know how to feel about this.
I did not know how to change what was happening.
Our deaths were seen as a way of life..
Our existence as unwanted.
I feared my death at any moment.
With that fear I lived life, hoping that some day I would be a part of the million on earth.
Unfortunately, my life span did not give me a chance to witness this change.
The day had come when I breathed my last.
And that's when i told myself

  "YES, I AM A DOG . THERE ARE MANY MORE ANIMALS LIKE ME. WE DESERVE RESPECT. OUR LIFE'S ARE VALUABLE LIKE YOUR'S AND THIS WORLD BELONGS TO US JUST AS MUCH AS IT BELONGS TO YOU".

PS : The all mighty created animals and gave them space to share with us. Maybe you know that each of these animals deserve a beautiful life just like you do. But there are some others who may not know the importance of these beings who cannot express their pain and feelings. It's time to spread awareness and it's time we accept the fact that humans are not the only beings on earth.
I am an animal lover and I took an oath that I would respect and provide for animals in every way I can.
If you  haven't taken this oath yet, then it's time you do it now. Because in the end animals or humans, we all were created by the same hands.

FEAR

It was a dark night.

A night so dark I could see the stars sparkle like diamonds.

And I was lying down under this magnificent spread.

But, something made me feel uneasy.

As I looked into the sea of stars my head drifted elsewhere.

I wondered what tomorrow was going to be like.

I thought about whether I would be able to look at the same starry sky again in the future.

I kept asking myself that question, but somehow no matter how much I thought about it, I just did not get a definite answer.

And that scared me.

Curiosity cooked inside me,
And suddenly I did not want to see  tomorrow

But again, my head worked wonders and like magic I saw myself in tomorrow

I saw myself in the future.

Yet, I was still unclear about where I was headed.

My heart pounded and my breath got heavier

I felt as though I was choking

The fear of tomorrow had taken over me. 

My head spun and I was not paying attention to the dark sky anymore. 

The future was what I was thinking about.

I lay on my back that whole night and through the sunrise.

My body had given up and I slept through that sparkling night.

The sun shone on my face the next day and I woke to a clear sky. 

I woke up to the day I was waiting for just, to know what it was going to be like. 

I did not know if I was happy or sad.

And so without questioning myself too much I dusted off my back and walked inside to start off my day.

Little did I know at that point of time  that, while I was worrying about my tomorrow I had missed the most beautiful night.

Gone was that night.

Gone was that moment.

THAT GIRL

She's got eyes that talk for her.
Her heart is so beautiful that it makes her skin glow.
When she smiles, the world smiles with her.
Happiness is what she wants to spread.
While sorrow is something that lives inside her forever.
Her motherly comfort is what people look forward to.
She provides for her friends and family,

Yet the world is not a friend to her.
Her soul is trapped inside the cage of life.
Outside which the world is brutal.
People call her weak and weary.
Rules and regulations are thrown at her.
Sacrifice is what they want her to give through out her life.
Her gender is used against her.

But she knows that some day all this will end.
She knows that one day her soul will break free through the cage and fly high.
She knows that one day her beautiful heart will shine brighter than her outer beauty to the world.
Her will power and confidence put her on a journey to achieve this.

She dusts off all the words thrown at her and lives like there is no tomorrow.
She's got strength like iron and a passion for life that no can change.
And that helps her reach into space and grab the sun with both her hands.
 No ,her hands don't burn nor does her body crumble.
She only gains power that breaks open her cage.
And never again was her soul trapped inside that cage of life.

Not Today Not Tomorrow Not Ever.



PS: This is dedicated to all the woman and girls who carry on through life like a superwoman  in the midst of the world that pushes her down.
This is a note for the world that cages her soul , to show that no cage is strong enough for a woman to break through.

THE ANGEL DOWN ON EARTH

Her face was pale and her skin wrinkled.

The clothes she wore were old ragged and dusty.

Her life wasn’t always like this.

I did not know the hardships she faced but, I knew that she was a fighter.

When I saw her I did not give much attention.

But, when I saw her eyes I drown in them.

She did not speak ,but her eyes spoke a thousand words.

Word’s that told me everything about her ,and that was enough for me to know that she needs help.

What kind of help? I thought to myself

At first I thought money was the only thing that is going to help her get back to the life she once lived.

But I was wrong.

There was something more than money that she needed

Words of love and concern for the heart ,and food for the stomach was what she needed

I gave her what she needed ,and that was the moment my life changed forever.

She had nothing left in her life expect hope.

Yet, she blessed me to have everything in life.

Tears rolled down her eyes and I was over whelmed

I never saw her again.

I don’t know who she was or where she is now.

All I know is she was an angel who came into my life,

To teach me that money and luxury is not everything one needs.

Sometimes words of kindness and a bit of love can make life worth living.

She taught me to love my life the way it is and make best use of it each day.

I do not consider my learning's as a lesson, I consider them as the secret to a beautiful life.
Till today my angel lives in my heart and she will forever.

Angels are not god from heaven; they live around you in forms you can never imagine.

Don’t let your angel get away because, just like me your life can change for the best.

A SEARCH FOR THE LIGHT

 I woke up one day  to a light.
A bright shiny light.
It let me see the world in a way like never before.
I saw happiness, success and love in my every en-devour and every being.
It made me content and I felt blessed.
But, some  question's stayed behind my head.
Where did this light come from? How did it reach me? and Why did it choose me?
So, i began my quest to find my answers.
I went deep into the valleys and searched under every rock.
I spoke to saints,  read books  and even questioned the all mighty.
All hoping to find why the light shone on me.
But, nothing gave me my answers.
I felt dis-heartened and thought that I was never going to understand this mystery light.
Then, something happened.
Just like waves hitting the sand bed 
I was dawned with realization that,
The light was not a  mystery nor was it enlightenment
But, it was more than that.
It was my light 
It lived inside me.
and I made it shine.
